The apple TV has been modified to accept third party software... It will come preinstalled with XBMC and a bunch of plugins for it including Icefilms...Icefilms allows you to have access to movies and TV shows that get posted on the internet and it's all free...There is also a plugin called Sportsdevil which allows for watching of live sports events...
